Since 2003, Marcela has been initiated into the healing and spiritual traditions of the Amazon and the Andes, later deepening her path through Tantric Buddhist practices. Today, she is pursuing a degree in Depth Psychology, Religion and Consciousness.

Marcela is the author of Awakening Your Inner Shaman, The Sacred Andean Codes, and co-author of the Mystical Shaman Oracle deck.

Born and raised in Chile, Marcela graduated from a prestigious journalism program. In her mid-twenties, she pursued studies in yoga and wellness and in 2005 she graduated from The Four Wind Society’s Light Body School. Soon she joined the teaching staff and today she serves as the Vision Keeper of the organization.

Marcela hosts retreats at Los Lobos Sanctuary, the center she and her husband Alberto Villoldo built in the mountains of Chile. She travels internationally to teach shamanic wisdom and leads sacred journeys that invite participants to awaken their own power and grace.
