Since 2003, Marcela has been initiated in the healing and spiritual traditions of the Amazon and the Andes and, a decade later, in Tantric Buddhist practices.

She is the author of the books Awakening Your Inner Shaman, The Sacred Andean Codes, and co-author of the Mystical Shaman Oracle deck.

Born and raised in Chile, Marcela graduated from a prestigious journalism program. In her mid-twenties, she pursued studies in yoga and wellness and in 2005 she graduated from The Four Wind Society’s Light Body School. Soon she joined the teaching staff and today she is the Vision Keeper of this institution.

Marcela hosts retreats at Los Lobos Sanctuary, the center she and her husband Alberto Villoldo built in the mountains of Chile. She travels internationally to teach shamanic wisdom and leads sacred journeys for people to awaken their own power and grace.
